** Our latest Developement for NBT head units only **

Watch movies or your favorite downloaded music videos on a USB drive directly on your screen using our latest
USB Video Playback Software.  We can enable this feature using similar software like the video in motion. The car is capable of playing most common video formats like MP4, AVI, MKV, MPG, etc. up to full HD resolution.  We haved fully tested up to 256 GB USB sticks and they worked. Hard drives can be different because of the power consumption and it is not recommended at all.

The video works very similar to the audio player and it is located in the same menu.  Once you use our USB Video Playback software,  the car will have USB video function enabled and you should be able to see a sub menu labled "video" as pictured above.

NOTE: USB Video will only work with BMW's that have the NBT head unit.  First cars with NBT were built after 2012/06. The transition from CIC to NBT was different for each series and regions, so there isn't any simple rule for this. The only solid rule is that all of the Exx chassis (like E70 X5, E71 X6, E84 X1 or E89 Z4) are CIC p to 2014 models.  For more information about they type of system you have please visit Difference between CIC and NBT units or email us your VIN Number at info@bimmerguru.com for further analysis
